Years following an intense falling out with his mentor/adoptive father Batman, the former Robin Dick Grayson has since left Gotham and has set up shop in Bludhaven, the second most crime-ridden city in the world, where he attempts to make a name for himself as the vigilante he Nightwing and struggles to dismantle the city's powerful and highly organized criminal enterprise which happens to be under the control of Bludhaven's corrupt mayor. But matters are about to become much worse for Dick as Bludhaven's criminal empire has recently acquired a secret weapon in the form of the infamous genetically engineered mercinary for hire Deathstroke.
