Betsy Palmer (November 1, 1926 – May 29, 2015) was an American actress, best known as a regular panelist on the game show I've Got a Secret and later for playing Mrs. Voorhees in the slasher film Friday the 13th (1980).
In 1993, Lewis Abernathy was hired to write the first ever FvJ script. The plot follows a gang of a Freddy worshipping cult resurrecting Krueger and use him to impregnate a virgin for rebirth him into reality as the virgin's older sister and her friends resurrect Jason to kill Freddy.
