Veronica Sixtos was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. At a young age she moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue an acting career. Veronica began working on commercials and TV promos (W.B.) but discovered her natural talent for acting when she booked a small role in the award winning film Quincenera(2006). Within the same year Veronica's talent landed her guest star roles in several television series' including, Strong Medicine as Marcela Cortez, and the popular Nickelodeon sitcoms Zoey 101 and Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide. In 2008, she played the lead role in the short film, Father Time. She continued her career landing recurring roles on Disney's Wizards of Waverly Place as the bright and bubbly, Nellie Rodriguez (2007-2008) and TBS' Tyler Perry's House of Payne playing the role of the next door neighbor, Alexandra Hernandez(2009). She starred in the fun and witty feature film, The Prankster(2010), as the charming love interest, Mariah Rivera. In 2012, she released her first music video, Stars, revealing her special talent as a singer/songwriter and musician. Soon after, she was offered to sing the theme song for the film Secret Asian Man: Rise of the Zodiac. More recently she played the role of Azalea in the award winning post-apocalyptic thriller The Last Survivors. Her most memorable role yet was in the feature film Hostile Border. Veronica carries a thought provoking story of a young woman caught in between 2 cultures. The film explores the dark side of the American dream. Poppy North, a normal teenage girl, is diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer. Her best friend James Rasmussen, secretly a vampire and her soulmate, rushes to find a cure, knowing that less than three percent of patients with pancreatic cancer survive. James decides to turn Poppy into a vampire in order to save her life. After Poppy is turned, James's cousin, Ash, abducts Poppy and takes her to Las Vegas where they attend a party held by the Lord of the Night World so that Ash can turn her in (Poppy is an "illegal" vampire). James manages to save her, and it is revealed that Poppy has every right to know about the Night World because she is actually a "lost" witch, a witch unaware of her magical heritage.James and Poppy set out to find Poppy's father supposing he could help them.
