Voice Register: Low-Medium. The Edwardian-styled voluptuous commanding officer of the pirate ship Jolly Roger, Hook is a fierce fighter of a woman who scares other pirates and seeks revenge on Peter Pan for cutting off her left hand and throwing it to the Crocodile, which she replaced with a silver hook. Oddly enough, Hook has a vaguely defined romantic and or sexual inclination towards the masculine-proportioned anthropomorphic Crocodile which she masks with an air of fear of the reptile and its attempts to devour her. NOTE: Originally, J. M. Barrie intended for Captain Hook to be played by a woman Dorothea Baird, so this incarnation pays homage to this old concept.
