Geralt of Rivia is what as known as a "Witcher" - someone who has undergone genetic mutations in order to become the ultimate monster slayer. He now roams the continent killing beasts, lifting curses, cavorting with sorcerers, and getting caught up in the various wars waged by rival kingdoms.
