A hard boiled detective named Shotaro Hidari along with his partner Philip, who protect the wind-powered city of Fuuto from criminals known as Dopants. These villains use mysterious flash drive-like devices called Gaia Memories to gain superhuman powers, often with devastating consequences for themselves. Shotaro and Philip combine their unique abilities and Gaia Memories to transform into the two-in-one Kamen Rider W, investigating and fighting the Dopant-related crimes to uncover the conspiracy behind the devices.
