LaKeith Lee Stanfield (born August 12, 1991) is an American actor. He made his feature film debut in Short Term 12 (2013), for which he was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award. He received further recognition for his roles in the films Get Out (2017), Sorry to Bother You (2018), Uncut Gems (2019), Knives Out (2019), and Judas and the Black Messiah (2021), the lattermost of which earned him a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. Stanfield has also appeared in the films Selma (2014), Dope (2015), Straight Outta Compton (2015), Crown Heights (2017), The Photograph (2020), The Harder They Fall (2021), Haunted Mansion (2023), and The Book of Clarence (2023). On television, he starred in the series Atlanta (2016–2022), for which he won a Black Reel Award for Television, and in the horror series The Changeling (2023–present). In the high-stakes world of underground street racing, Jake Ryder, a talented racer, arrives in Rockport City with dreams of dominating its infamous racing scene. His prized possession—a heavily modified BMW M3 GTR—quickly makes him a target for the "Blacklist," a ruthless group of the city's top 15 racers. But Jake's ambitions take a devastating turn when Razor Callahan, the Blacklist's top racer, sabotages Jake's car during a pivotal race, causing him to lose the race, his car, and his freedom. Arrested by the relentless Sergeant Cross, Jake is released on a technicality but is left humiliated and carless. Determined to reclaim his car and take down Razor, Jake begins his climb up the Blacklist, racing and defeating each member one by one. With the help of his loyal friend Rog and mysterious ally Mia Townsend, Jake takes on increasingly dangerous challenges, culminating in a final showdown against Razor.
