The main story follows Naruto and his friends individual growth, along with his development as a ninja. In addition, it focuses on the interactions between them and the influence of the environment on their personalites. As the series progresses, Naruto is related to Sasuke and Sakura, with whom he forms "Team 7" along with his sensei Kakashi Hatake.
