Fan Casting Connie Watson in Nancy Drew The Animated Series Season 1

"Connie is a hall monitor after school one day when Nancy meets her." "She says that the only boy she's interested in is the popular boy Daryl Gray. Nancy later learns that Connie, a member of the Crane School of Self Defense, won the local men's judo competition under a mask and that Jake Rogers was blackmailing her, making her go out with him. At the end of the game, Nancy pleads for her to help catch Jake's murderer. She says that she can't put her life at risk, even if it means helping Daryl, as she could be the first in her family to go to college with the money from the competition. However, she shows up later that night and uses her skills to disarm Mitch by kicking him in the back after he shoots Daryl in the arm. Mitch then punches her in the back and she falls, but Nancy corners Mitch with his gun and Connie gets help. Afterwards, she gets closer to Daryl by giving him private judo lessons."
