Nancy and Ned discover Marie Antoinette's journal in the Tower and with help from Hotchkiss manage to translate it. Using the medallions, the couple manage to reveal a secret compartment in the tower containing a diamond that belonged to Marie. There it is reveled that Lisa was behind everything, the vandalism, stealing from Hotchkiss, trapping Ned and Nancy in the elevator and outside in the blizzard, wanting to find the diamond and take it for herself. She attacks Nancy and Ned with pepper spray and steals the diamond, thankfully, Nancy stops her by pushing a button that retracts the stone staircase leading up to the tower, trapping Lisa in a cell. Now with Hotchkiss's theory on Antoinette proven right and Lisa arrested, Nancy and Ned enjoy the rest of their vacation
