Near the end of the case, Nancy and Bess discover that Lilian has been investigating the threats Rick has been receiving as well. Not only that Lillian shows Nancy and Bess a threatening letter she received. Upon seeing a term that she heard recently, Nancy deduces that Dwayne Powers has been behind the threats, accidents, and bomb. Dwayne reveals himself in the studio's control room, planning on kill the three. However, Nancy pulls the fire alarm, alerting security to arrest Dwayne.
