Lord Alden is a noble leader in 12th Century Europe who unknowingly allies with the Darkside Inhabitants for mutual gain. A pragmatic and shrewd ruler, Alden seeks to use the Darkside Inhabitants’ abilities to strengthen his kingdom and win political power. Over time, he begins to form a bond with Taran and became his ally. Alden’s character evolves as he learns more about his allies, and he must choose whether to stand with the Darkside Inhabitants when the prophecy begins to unfold.
