Minions & Monsters is an upcoming American animated monster comedy film written and directed by Pierre Coffin and co-written by Brian Lynch. Produced by Illumination and distributed by Universal Pictures, it is the prequel to Minions (2015) and Minions: The Rise of Gru (2022), likewise prequels to Despicable Me (2010), and the seventh entry overall of the Despicable Me franchise.
