Cross family's butler and also the retired retainer of the Cross Family. He is known as the "Angel of Death", due to his incredible fighting prowess and skill with manipulating ultra-thin wires that can cut nearly anything to ribbons. Though he is now technically "retired," Walter is anything but frail. Even in his old age, he can—and often does—hold his own against powerful supernatural threats. His wisdom and battlefield experience are invaluable to Eleanor, whom he continues to serve faithfully after her father's death. Walter is often calm, dignified, and acts as a father figure and advisor to Eleanor, offering both strategic guidance and emotional support.
