The richest businessman in London. Dawson is an avid collector of vampire lore and mystical artifacts and is also a frequent collaborator of the Cross Organization. At glance, he comes across as friendly, humble, and civic-minded. However, he is actually arrogant and seems to believe that his wealth and influence afford him to get away with anything. Eleanor senses that Dawson is far more dangerous than he lets on. When asked what he would do if he were bitten by a vampire and turned into one, Dawson responds, "Whatever I want, and I will destroy anyone who stands in my way.” While this may have been intended as dark humor, he could possibly be a potential secret antagonist.
