Vampires exist. It is the duty of The Cross Organization, a secret organization sponsored by the British government, to conceal this terrifying truth and protect the blissfully unaware public. Along with its elite army, the Cross Organization has its own secret weapon: "V", an incredibly powerful vampire who has served the family for years. While it’s unclear how he feels about his role as a servant, he certainly relishes his job as a vampire exterminator. Victoria Crane, a former police officer turned fledgling vampire, continues to wrestle with the darker aspects of her new existence. Although she’s fully integrated into the Cross Organization as a key asset, the challenges of being a vampire, along with the bloodlust and isolation that comes with it, still haunt her. Eleanor Cross, the current leader of the Cross Organization, is usually more than capable of fulfilling her duties. But recently, the rise in vampire activity has intensified, especially with the resurgence of the FREAK Chips; once thought destroyed after the events of season 2 and 3, now appearing once again. This time, someone has not only revived the FREAK Chips but has perfected them. Unfortunately, the cause is more alarming than anything she could have imagined. A group long thought dead has been plotting in secret since their apparent destruction over 50 years ago. Plotting to plunge England, and perhaps the entire world, into war.
