A prominent member of Millennium, Friedrich von Kämpfer is one of the organization’s most powerful artificial vampires. He is an extremely crude, lecherous, sexist, sadistic, callous, and manipulative vampire who firmly believes in male chauvinism and openly insults female characters. Friedrich is delusional in his belief in male superiority, which often puts him at odds with other members of Millennium, particularly Rip Van Winkle, with whom he frequently engages in heated conflicts. His contempt for female warriors extends to Gretel von Neumann, whom he deeply dislikes, though he is more cautious about confronting her directly. Despite his immense strength, Friedrich harbors an inferiority complex due to not being a member of the Werwolf Squad. He resents this exclusion, believing it stems from his inability to defeat certain enemies or match the raw power of figures like The Captain or Gretel von Neumann. He harbors a special hatred for Victoria Crane, who humiliated him in their first encounter by bruising his ego. This grudge fuels his obsession with seeking revenge, going to extreme lengths to ensure her suffering. Friedrich is so vile and repulsive that even a powerful vampire like V is disgusted by his sheer cruelty. His deeply ingrained misogyny, sadism, and lack of morality make him one of the most despised members of Millennium, even among his allies.
