A feared crime boss, he has built a vast secret empire over centuries, making him possibly the richest man on Earth. He sees others as mere tools for his power, showing little respect for life. Obsessed with science and sorcery, Ruthven’s intelligence is overshadowed by his growing insanity from dangerous self-experiments. He has been secretly watching his fellow originals, especially V, and has gained similar powers through these experiments, making him a formidable enemy.
