An assassin and mercenary who, along with his sister, works as a double agent for the Chōshu. He and his sister were formerly childhood friends with Josuke, and they reunited again to become enemies. He has a seemingly calm demeanor, which covers his vicious, short tempered and almost cruel personality. He is a highly skilled swordsman, using a sword hidden in his shamisen as a weapon. He is also capable of using the solid thin strings of his shamisen to chain his opponents and tear their limbs off. His face is fully covered by a skull mask, nobody ever saw his real face because he was wearing a mask all the time
