An assassin from Tosa domain, trained by Takechi Hanpeita and was appointed as the vice commander of the Yaminobu assassin group. He was a member of the Tosa Kinnoto in his hometown. A bloodthirsty, yet arrogant and foolhardy assassin, he doesn't enjoy killing people, but was conditioned to see people as mere straw dolls when it came to chopping them up. He fights using katanas that are connected at the hilt to form one sword with two parallel blades. The idea behind this is, even if the cut doesn't kill you, two cuts made so close together can't be stictched up and the victim will die by blood loss or of infection.
