Glen Thomas Powell Jr. (born October 21, 1988) is an American actor. He began his career with minor roles on television and in films such as Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over (2003) and Fast Food Nation (2006). Powell acted in the action film The Expendables 3 (2014), the comedy-horror series Scream Queens (2015–2016), the teen comedy Everybody Wants Some!! (2016), the historical romance The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society (2018), and the romantic comedy Set It Up (2018). He also portrayed astronaut John Glenn in Hidden Figures (2016) and aviator Tom Hudner in Devotion (2022). Powell became famous for starring in the action film Top Gun: Maverick (2022) and the romantic comedy Anyone but You (2023). He has since starred in the dark comedy Hit Man(2023), which he also co-wrote and produced, and in the disaster film Twisters (2024). Let's not beat around the bush here, The DC Extended Universe hasn't exactly had the best history, nor is it in the best shape as of now by any stretch of the imagination. However, with it now being under management in the form of James Gunn, if all things go according to plan, the future should hopefully look a lot brighter for DC on film. With Gunn effectively wiping the slate clean for the DC Comics film franchise with all future installments, I figured now's as good a time as any to present what I would want DC on screen to look like if I were placed at the helm. So if it were up to me, here's who I'd pick to play the respective characters of the new and improved DC Extended Universe
