Each episode is 45 minutes. This dark romantic comedy is about a 16-year-old boy in Oklahoma named Aiden Jay, who considers himself a loser. His mom died, his dad is an alcoholic who hits his own son whenever he sees him cry. He's also the constant target of the school bully, Kirk. The line is drawn when Aiden's crush rejects him like the shallow queen bee she is. Aiden tries to hang himself in the woods, but wakes up the next morning in the hospital. When he comes back to school, he suddenly gets attention from a girl named Bree Mayflower, who is the victim of a rumor mill, because she's a loner. During a rainy day, Aiden asks Bree for a ride home from school. Overtime, they become study partners and eventually go on their first date. After seeing Bree's strange behavior at the zoo, she tells Aiden (actually SHOWS him) her secret: she's a WEREWOLF! In fact, she and her parents are sole survivors after their pack is killed by mysterious creatures. As they go steady, more danger ensues for Aiden as becoming a lycan via bite is only a myth, and an enemy from Bree's past is in pursuit. So, Aiden must do the most challenging task: believe in himself!
