Ebon Moss-Bachrach (/ˈɛbɪn mɑːs ˈbækəræk/) (born March 19, 1977) is an American actor. He is known for his role as restaurant manager Richie Jerimovich in the comedy-drama series The Bear (2022–present), for which he was twice awarded the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series and two Golden Globe Award nominations. Moss-Bachrach has had major television roles on Girls (2014–2017) and NOS4A2 (2019–2020) and appeared in the first season of Star Wars: Andor (2022). In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he portrayed David "Micro" Lieberman in the first season of The Punisher (2017) and Ben Grimm / The Thing in The Fantastic Four: First Steps (2025). In Marvel Studios' first Fantastic Four movie, in an alternate universe a mysterious cosmic threat emerges when a huge energy vortex begins to consume entire planets in the universe. Renowned scientist Reed Richards, along with his team consisting of his wife Susan Storm, his best friend Ben Grimm and Susan's brother Johnny Storm, investigate this strange anomaly. As they investigate, they discover that Galactus, the Eater of Worlds, is the being behind this terrible destruction. Galactus, accompanied by his loyal servant Nova (Frankie Raye), is in search of cosmic energy to satisfy his insatiable hunger. The Fantastic Four are faced with a monumental dilemma: stop Galactus from consuming Earth or try to find a peaceful solution to avoid destruction.
