In Marvel Studios' first Fantastic Four movie, in an alternate universe a mysterious cosmic threat emerges when a huge energy vortex begins to consume entire planets in the universe. Renowned scientist Reed Richards, along with his team consisting of his wife Susan Storm, his best friend Ben Grimm and Susan's brother Johnny Storm, investigate this strange anomaly.
As they investigate, they discover that Galactus, the Eater of Worlds, is the being behind this terrible destruction. Galactus, accompanied by his loyal servant Nova (Frankie Raye), is in search of cosmic energy to satisfy his insatiable hunger. The Fantastic Four are faced with a monumental dilemma: stop Galactus from consuming Earth or try to find a peaceful solution to avoid destruction.
