Ed Oxenbould (born 1 June 2001) is an Australian actor. In 2014 acted as the title character in Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day, Dylan in Paper Planes, and as Tyler in the film The Visit.
The year is 1980. Charles Xavier and Eric Lenchner are co-leaders of the superpowered team of youngsters known as the X-Men. After a battle against the villainous Sebastian Shaw, which leads to Eric violently murdering Shaw in front of the X-men. Charles and Eric can’t decide on how to teach the mutants, leading to Eric and some of the other members to split from the X-men forming the Brotherhood. This is set to be the origin story of the MCU’s version of the X-men, similar to First Class.
