Mindy is a 13 year old girl who loves Christmas, she knows Mr. Finch and thinks that the fact that Mr. Finch's mother was hit by a car when he was a kid it wasn't Christmas's fault, she meets him in person right in the film (although she doesn't know it's him and believes he's Santa Claus, because he is disguised as Santa Claus), she wishes Mr. Finch (thinking he is Santa Claus) that he be happy and understand the true meaning of Christmas.
