Fan Casting Jimmy (Mouthwashing) in Mouthwashing: The Metal Musical

Jimmy is the main protagonist of Mouthwashing. As the co-pilot of the Tulpar, he was in charge of navigation and taking the captain's mantle in the event of an emergency. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jimmy is the main protagonist of the 2024 Swedish psychological horror game Mouthwashing. He is the co-pilot of the Tulpar space freighter, next in line to the captain, Curly. After the freighter's company, Pony Express, shut down, the spaceship crashed into an asteroid, presumably caused by Curly with intention. However, it was eventually revealed that, over feelings of jealousy towards the captain, personal circumstances, and an inability to "take responsibility" for his actions, Jimmy orchestrated the crash instead and blamed Curly. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The narrative charts Jimmy's futile attempt to lead the crew aboard the marooned ship, having assumed the position of de facto captain considering that Curly's attempt to divert the crash left him incapacitated. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- However, each crew member ends up succumbing to psychological distress and/or death because of him, all while Jimmy fails to recognize that his actions are the reason things are falling apart. In his final act, and with everyone else gone, Jimmy places Curly in the remaining cryogenic pod aboard the ship and takes his own life, believing that he had fixed everything.
