In the heart of Calcutta, Mother Teresa's mission to serve the poorest of the poor shines as a beacon of hope. Her unwavering dedication to the suffering earns her the status of a saintly figure, celebrated worldwide. However, a more nuanced story lies beneath the surface. "Mother Teresa: The Saint, The Controversy, The Legacy" unravels this tale of contradiction and complexity. It explores the allegations of financial impropriety, subpar medical care, and ethical dilemmas that have shadowed her missions. It also sheds light on her controversial relationships with figures like Haitian dictator Jean-Claude Duvalier and scandal-hit financier Charles Keating. The film doesn't shy away from portraying Mother Teresa as a human being with flaws, doubts, and difficult choices. It captures her unwavering faith and unrelenting drive to alleviate suffering, while also examining the compromises she may have made in the process.
