Knowing the invitation is a trap, Lord Raiden nevertheless leads Liu Kang, Johnny Cage, Sonya Blade, Scorpion, Reptile, and new allies Jax, Kung Lao, Kitana, and the mysterious new Sub-Zero into Kahn's brutal realm, where they must survive a deadly tournament fought on enemy soil. As Liu Kang faces the savage Kintaro, the warriors encounter Baraka and Mileena while Kitana secretly reveals that Kahn's true plan is to use the tournament to begin the conquest of Earthrealm.
