I forgot to do this project a few months ago, so after a short break, I'm back with another "what if" scenario. Recently, with the release of Mortal Kombat 2, which I thoroughly enjoyed, I wanted to do this little reimagining of what would have happened if they had released a movie of the famous game in the 2000s, more specifically in 2008, a time when great movies were hitting theaters. It's a simple idea: the original story adapted in a modern and straightforward way.
The central plot revolves around an ancient interdimensional tournament created by the ancient gods to prevent one kingdom from unjustly conquering another.
