Álvaro Guerrero (b. May 28, 1957 in Mexico City) is a Mexican film, theater, radio and television actor who has worked in various soap operas and Mexican films. He is the father of the actress and singer María José Guerrero.
The year is 1965, and the residents of New Penzance live in a community that seems to be free from some of the bad things that happen in the rest of the world. Twelve-year-old Sam and Suzy have fallen in love and decide to run away. But a violent storm is approaching the island, forcing a group of adults to mobilize and find the boys before a tragedy strikes.
