Former Marine, now Mercenary, Mary Spector was taking a mission down in Egypt from Ronie Bushman. Ronie needs Mary assist to steal a a Pharaoh’s Tomb, there Mary encounters a man named Martin and falls in love, and learns of Ronie’s terrible intentions with the tomb, as she tries to stop her Ronie shots Mary and leaves her for dead. Martin drags her body to where the tomb was and the Spirit of Khonshua appears to Mary and says she will save her life in exchange of her services, Mary agrees and become The Moon Knight, and looks to exact revenge on Bushman.
