Dennis Dexter Haysbert (born June 2, 1954) is an American actor. He is known for his roles as baseball player Pedro Cerrano in the Major League film trilogy, Secret Service agent Tim Collin in the political thriller film Absolute Power, Sergeant Major Jonas Blane on the CBS military action drama series The Unit, God on the Netflix show Lucifer, and President David Palmer on the first five seasons of 24. He has also appeared in the films Love Field, Navy SEALS, Heat, Waiting to Exhale, Far from Heaven, and the science fiction series Incorporated. He is the narrator for the A&E Network's American Justice television series. Marc Spector was a mercenary working for Raoul Bushman in Egypt. After an attempt to save innocent people, Spector is killed by Bushman. Egyptians take him to an ancient temple where his heart stops in front of a statue of the ancient god Khonshu. He receives a vision from the god and offers him a second chance as being the avatar of the god. He accepts, and is resurrected. He takes the silver shroud off the statue and murders Bushman, keeping his face as a trophy. In the coming years, he becomes not only Moon Knight, but adopts the identity of Steven Grant and Jake Lockley to have money but be in touch with the criminal element. He soon develops multiple personality disorder and schizophrenia, while also being a sadistic killer to the criminals that dare cross him.
