The story would’ve been set in Montauk, would’ve had different named characters, events and outcome Nancy is instead Vickie Byers Arthur Byers is a different better character with a redemption and he, Vickie, Cory interact in the same plot Their plot starts with investigation of the hole in the shed. They also interact with Wendy Byers in her plot which is same Mr Clarke and Karen wheeler are more involved. Lucas is different Joel would meet El,in a lighthouse,and she’s gaunt,homeless,and scribbled all over walls Will is the third vanishing with drowning as a cover up. In general the pilot ended with people more aware of the unnatural storm with a growling being. There are more monsters attacking-described as tall, disfigured, have small black eyes and pale, withered skin entities. plus things like strange fungi,weird fog,temperatures going down,food rots,gravity mixing up,electrical storm
