David Packard Corenswet (/ˈkɔːrənswɛt/CORE-in-SWET; born July 8, 1993) is an American actor. After graduating from Juilliard in 2016, he began guest-starring in television series, including House of Cards in 2018. He played lead roles in the Netflix series The Politician (2019–2020) and Hollywood (2020), both created by Ryan Murphy. In 2022, he starred in the films Look Both Ways and Pearl, as well as the HBO miniseries We Own This City. After supporting roles in the film Twisters and the miniseries Lady in the Lake (both 2024), he rose to prominence with his portrayal of the titular superhero in James Gunn's DC Universe film Superman (2025). He was close to defeating Zeus, before being defeated by a traitorous blow and being imprisoned in Mount Etna. However, the powerful creature had previously united with Echidna, having many powerful children with her. Echidna managed to reunite all their offspring, even those everyone thought were dead, and released her husband from his prison. Shocked to discover that the Olympians made them look like monsters to mortals, Typhon prepared his family and allies to seek justice against the Olympians and those who supported them. In the midst of this terrible war, even by the standards of Greek Mythology, a young mortal risks to change History, although her own may be distorted with the passage of time. Her name : Pandora.
