Fan Casting James Rhodes in MMU/4.: Iron Man 2 (2010)

Rhodey became a much more important character than in the previous film. He became the liaison person between Tony and the government, and he tried to convince Stark to cooperate with the army. After he saw that his friend became an alcoholic, he takes one of his armors, and battled with him, and then he leaves with it. He took the armor to the U.S. army, and Justin Hammer upgraded it. Rhodey became the War Machine, an Iron Man-like hero, who works for the gov. and he helps Tony to fight with the robot drones of Hammer.
