Fan Casting Dr. Abraham Erskine in MMU/2.: Captain America: The First Avenger (2009)

Dr. Abraham Erskine was a German scientist who invented the Super-Soldier Serum. Hydra leader Johann Schmidt was the first, who tested a prototype of the serum but it was not perfect. After that Erskine fled to America and allied himself with the U.S. army. He perfected the serum and created the Weapon Plus Program to make a super soldier for the army. He choose Steve Rogers for the program because he wasn't a perfect soldier, but a good man. After the experiment was succesfull and Rogers became a Super-Soldier, a nazi spy killed Erskine.
