After rescuing Kitana from Lord Cole Young’s overwhelming affection, Lord Liu Kang and his armies continue their journey through China. Along the way, they encounter their protector and former ally, Divine Fragrance Hu Tao, Goddess of the Boundary, battling the mythical Primo Geovishap. Their journey eventually leads them to a recently discovered ancient site known as the Temple of the White and Black Dragon Healers. Inside the temple, they discover two mysterious dragon sisters with beautiful, glowing blue eyelashes. The sisters are Sheng Xue, the White Dragon Queen, and San Sheng, her younger sister, the Black Dragon. Both sisters are sacred guardians, creators, and original sources of the magical tea leaves that grow within their domain. These extraordinary tea leaves are used to produce a legendary healing tea capable of curing any disease. As Lord Liu Kang and his armies meet Sheng Xue and San Sheng, they discover that the Dragon Sisters are far more than ordinary healers. Together, they protect the ancient temple, nurture the sacred tea leaves, and preserve the mysterious healing power that has been passed down through their dragon lineage. However, their peaceful existence is shattered when the Deceiver, Onaga, the Dragon King, emerges and seeks to control the sisters and their sacred power. Using his dark corruption, Onaga takes control of Sheng Xue and San Sheng, twisting the once-noble Dragon Sisters against their will, much like The Fallen’s corruption of Megatron. Under Onaga’s command, the corrupted sisters are ordered to attack and kill Lord Liu Kang and his armies. Now, Lord Liu Kang and his allies must stop Onaga’s corruption, defeat the Deceiver, and free Sheng Xue and San Sheng from his control before the Dragon Sisters’ sacred healing power is turned into a weapon against their enemies.
