Markus Alexej Persson (born 1 June 1979), also known as "Notch", is a Swedish video game programmer and designer. He is the creator of the video game Minecraft, which since its release has become the best-selling video game in history. He founded the video game development company Mojang Studios in 2009.
When a village is attacked by an army of monsters from The Nether, Steve, a disgruntled lumberjack and Alex, a smart and agile hunter, team up to venture out and head to The Nether to find out who is responsible for the interfering with the worlds.
