Miles Morales is bitten by a radioactive spider. Instead of jumping head first into being a hero, Miles instead opts to just ignore it. One day though, he asks his new teacher and mentor what he should do if he can do something special, but wants to ignore it, and Peter tells him that someone he loved once told him 'With great power, comes great responsibility'. Meaning that you should always help others. Inspired, Miles decides to finally listen to his friend Ganke and become the new Spider-Man.
