A different kind of story that shows how Mickey meets Minnie Mouse. Mickey, Donald, and Goofy work at a carnival. Mickey sells hot dogs, Donald collects tickets at the Tunnel of Love, and Goofy is the janitor/handyman. Their boss is Peg Leg Pete. The carnival is having a dance contest, where one contestant dances with the famous dancer, Minnie Mouse. Her assistant, Daisy, is the judge. The winner gets to dance with her in the national competition. After Minnie buys a hot dog from Mickey's stand, they fall in love. However, one contestant is going to ruin everything: Minnie's ex-boyfriend, Mortimer Mouse. After taunting Mickey and Minnie, Mickey decides to beat him in the contest to teach Mortimer a lesson, as a cover for entering so he can be with Minnie. Meanwhile, the gang does not know that the contest was a front for an other-dimensional being to break lose and feast on everyone's fear and misery (presumably the Phantom Blot). I also think there could be multiverse travel involved in which the gang finds themselves in their old cartoons, new cartoons and video games and comics.
