The film follows the titular character Mickey Mouse (Diamantopoulos), who travels to the kingdom of Rosas for a vacation with his friends and family as he makes a passionate plea to the stars in a moment of need, leading him to meet a living, magic star which has fallen from the sky, and together they along with his friends including Asha (DeBose), King Magnifico (Pine) and his wife Queen Amaya (Cabral) face up to his arch nemesis, Pete (Cummings), who plans to rule all the kingdom of Rosas by becoming the new sorcerer king.
