He's a young brother coming up in the streets of Watts, Grape Street. He's trying to figure out his place in the world, battling his own demons and trying to make it out alive. Caine is smart, but he's also caught up in the cycle of violence and crime that surrounds him. He's loyal to his friends but struggles with the choices he has to make to survive. Throughout the movie, you see Caine wrestling with his conscience and trying to find a way to break free from the streets that threaten to consume him. It's a raw and real portrayal of a young man trying to find redemption in a world where it seems impossible.
