Alexander Zubarev is a Russian‑speaking TikToker and streamer; previously, he was a choreographer and teacher.
He was born on February 15, 1987, in Donetsk (Ukrainian SSR). He grew up in a large family under difficult circumstances: his father, a miner, left the family, and his mother was left alone with three children and, according to Alexander, worked from early morning until late evening. His older brother, Igor, died of an overdose at the age of 22, which had a profound impact on the future blogger.
Alexander started dancing in childhood, participated in street performances, then joined the Donetsk folk ensemble and toured Europe. He received an education as a teacher‑choreographer and worked as a ballet master at the Donbas Arena stadium, staging performances for football matches.
In 2014, active hostilities began in Donetsk, which is why Alexander moved to China the following year under a work contract. There he worked as a dancer, participated in modeling shoots, and taught ballet to children.
He is married to a girl named Alina. The wedding took place on October 10, 2024, in Istanbul.
In 2025, he was invited to play the role of the character Arkady in the Russian comedy film “Skuf.” The director of the project is Alexey Stepanov. Zubarev’s participation in the film sparked a discussion in the Russian media. The criticism was triggered by old video recordings and statements by Zubarev, including a 2022 joke about a “burger with Russian babies” and a donation with the slogan “Glory to the Armed Forces of Ukraine” in 2023.
In February 2026, Mikhail Ivanov, deputy head of the World Russian People’s Council, proposed recognizing the blogger as a foreign agent and banning the film’s distribution.
