Years after Dr. Light's robot master project was accepted by the governments of the world Dr. Light's jealous rival and former friend Dr. Albert Wily steals 8 of Dr. Lights robot masters and plans to use them to take over the world so Light's robot son Rock "Mega" Light offers himself up to be turned into a combat robot called Mega Man to save the world, so Mega now Mega Man goes on an adventure to stop Wily and save the world
