Olga Fonda (born Olga Tchakova) is a Russian-American actress and model best known for her role as the vampire Nadia Petrova in The Vampire Diaries. Born in 1982 in the Siberian region of Russia, she moved to the United States at age 14 as an exchange student before eventually pursuing a degree in financial management. After being discovered as a model by Ford Models, she transitioned into acting, appearing in films like Real Steel and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn. Her career also includes major roles in the TNT series Agent X and the Netflix cyberpunk drama Altered Carbon.
