Born Sami Antero Jarvi, in 1970. Sam Lake is the creative director at Remedy Entertainment. He is also well known for Max Payne and Alan Wake, as the writer for the game, as well as being the model for Max, in Max Payne. He is now 51 years old.
Taking place right after the events of the first Max Payne game, Max is back on the NYPD. After responding to a series of murders done by a group known as The Cleaners, Max runs into Mona Sax, who he previously assumed was dead. Things get even more complicated when he finds out that Mona is the prime suspect in the murder of a US Senator. Max realizes the night is far from over and they must investigate further to find out who's after the both of them and why.
