In the third chapter of the Max series, Max is now living at a Texas rescue ranch with Carmen, Justin’s girlfriend and a skilled K9 trainer, while Justin studies abroad. Alongside Carmen is her cousin Chuy, Justin’s best friend and a laid-back deputy who helps look after Max.
