A movie adaptation of the hit West End musical of the classic Roald Dahl novel.
The narrative centres on Matilda Wormwood, a precocious 5 year old girl with the gift of telekinesis, who loves reading, overcomes obstacles caused by her family and school, and helps her teacher to reclaim her life. All whilst outsmarting her terrifying and tempestuous headteacher.
