In Depression-era London, Michael and Jane Banks are now grown up, with the former's children residing at Cherry Tree Lane after suffering a personal loss. That's when the enigmatic nanny Mary Poppins re-enters the lives of the Banks family and uses her unique magical skills to help the family rediscover the joy and wonder missing in their lives.
